Experience BOHEMIA at the Feria de Pentecôte 2024, from Thursday, May 16th to Monday, May 20th included.
Open from 10 am to 2 am throughout the Feria.
For this latest edition of the Feria de Nîmes, L'Imperator takes on the colors of BOHEMIA for a unique festive and cultural event. From morning till night, the large garden transformed into a Bodega, the Brasserie L'Impé and the Bar Hemingway welcome you in a festive atmosphere combining music and sharing, all orchestrated by Chef Pierre Gagnaire and his team.
New this year, the party will last until Monday evening inclusive, the HEMINGWAY prize is back at L'Imperator for its 20th edition and the artists Claude Viallat, Nicole Bousquet and Roberto Mangu Quesada will be honoured.

Hemingway Prize
Monday, May 20, 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm (free entrance)
The International Hemingway Prize, awarded at the Feria de Nîmes since 2004 by Les Avocats du Diable, based on an idea by Marion Mazauric and Simon Casas, makes its return to L'Imperator. The jury will meet on Friday at L'Imperator to deliberate.
A reading will take place on Monday 20 May in the heart of the Bodega BOHEMIA, in the garden.
BOHEMIA exhibitions
Because the Feria is also an opportunity to honor renowned artists who celebrate the art of tauromachy, discover the works of art exhibited in the heart of L'Imperator.
Nîmes gallery owner Philippe Pannetier, in partnership with the Musée des Cultures Taurines, Claude and Henriette Viallat, will present a dozen works from the tauromachy collection of artist Claude Viallat at the Brasserie L'Impé.
Roberto Mangu Quesada, an international Franco-Spanish painter, will be presenting his series devoted to bullfighting, which he has entitled 'Lidia Soñada' at the Bar Hemingway. The artist sees bullfighting as one of the rare manifestations of a spectacle of our time that, by its tragic nature, escapes the enslaving nature of entertainment and, on the contrary, presents itself as the liturgy of a sacred rite that celebrates a real presence in the world where, in an aseptic world, death openly plays its part.
Nicole Bousquet, an international painter based in Nîmes, plays with the eye. Obsessive, essential, moving. Following a ritual all her own, the artist works on her portraits using a variety of techniques. The creator of the poster for the 2023 Feria de Nîmes, she now adorns the walls of DUENDE with her large-format bullfighting paintings.

BOHEMIA combines tradition and feria spirit in the present, a bohemian chic bodega, festive and elegant, that exalts the energy of Nîmes in one of the city's iconic venues, Maison Albar - L'Imperator.
BOHEMIA brings the gipsy and flamenco spirit to life with a contemporary take on 80s music.

BOHEMIA is a unique rendez-vous, where from morning till night, people meet unexpectedly to enjoy a cocktail at the Hemingway bar or share a bottle on one of the barrels in the large garden, taste tapas, a cocktail dinner or enjoy a table at the Brasserie L'Impé, all orchestrated by Chef Pierre Gagnaire and his team.
BOHEMIA is a child of the Feria.
